(Tuesday, February 17; Sioux Center, Iowa) – The Dordt Defender hockey team has learned its assignment for the MACHA postseason tournament, which begins Friday, February 20, in Chesterfield, Missouri.

The Defenders finished the season 6-2 in the West Division of the MACHA and will face Olivet Nazarene (Illinois), which finished atop the North Division with an 8-2 mark. The teams will play Friday at 2:15 p.m., with the winner advancing to face the Illinois State–Arkansas winner at 5:20 p.m. on Saturday.

If the Defenders advance to the title game, they will play Monday, February 23, at 3 p.m. If Dordt does not advance, the championship game will be played Sunday afternoon.

The winner of the MACHA Tournament earns an automatic berth in the ACHA Division III National Championship field.
