The Dordt University men's track and field team is ranked 27th in the latest edition of the United States Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches' Association (USTFCCA) NAIA Indoor National Rating released earlier today.

Notes: 

• this is the fifth of seven national ratings that the USTFCCCA will release during the 2026 indoor season
• the final poll will be announced on Sunday, March 8, following the conclusion of the NAIA Indoor National Championships
• Dordt moved out of the top 25 for the first time this season, dropping to 27th in this week's rating
• the Defenders accounted for 45.8 points, within two points of #26 Montant Tech and #25 Dickinson State
• Dordt is one of three teams from the Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) ranked in the top 30 in the  Feb.25 rating:
  • Doane - #15
  • Concordia - #19
  • Dordt - #27
• Cumberlands (Ky.) holds down the No.1 spot for the fifth consecutive ranking and totals 282 points
• Marian (Ind.), Indiana Tech, Indiana Wesleyan and Voorhees (S.C.) follow and are all in the top five
• the Defenders hold a top 10 ranking in six events
