The Dordt Defender women's golf team is in ninth place after 27 holes at the GPAC Championship held at Dakota Dunes in North Sioux City, South Dakota. Dordt shot a 375-183=558 in a round and a half of play.

Morningside had a 323-153=476 to lead the field and Doane is in second place with a 332-165=497 with 27 holes to play.
Mount Marty is 17 strokes in front of Dordt and Dakota Wesleyan is seven strokes back of the Defenders.
Ashlee Sweeter led the Dordt effort with an 86-42=128 and is in 25
th place and she had a pair of birdies in her first round.
Jillian Eidsness shot a 97-43=140 and
Katherine Beekman was the only other Dordt golfer to play all 27 holes on the first day and had a 97-56=153.
The meet schedule was modified due to wet conditions on Monday. The day was originally scheduled to include 36 holes with Tuesday being a single round. Instead, each day includes 27 holes.
Morningside has two golfers atop the field with Ivana Bacer Diaz and Kamryn Zuniga each shooting 116 and Dakota Wesleyan's Allison Meyerink matched those scores for a three-way tie.
