The Dordt Defender women's golf team will compete at the Mount Marty Classic on Monday and Tuesday, September 21-22. The event will be held at Tatanka Golf Club in Niobrara, Nebraska . Both days will have 18 holes of competition.

The Dordt University women's golf team tied for third at the Lila Frommelt Fall Classic, a one-day, 18-hole event held today at the Two Rivers Golf Club in Sioux City, Iowa.
Dordt shot a 326 and tied the hosts, Briar Cliff, for third place out of the 13 teams that competed today. The Defenders finished just six shots in back of the co-champions, Concordia and Morningside, who both carded a 320. A group of golfers from Wayne State University placed fifth.
Chloe Attema led the Defenders with her first career top-10 finish, placing tied for fourth overall with a career-best 18-hole round of 79 (+8). The freshman shot a 40 on the front nine, 39 on the back, and made three birdies on the day.Â

Maggie Domeyer, tied for 16th with an 18-hole score of 82. This was a season-best round by Sweeter, who carded a 41 on both the front and back nines. Meyering, who has shot an 83 or better in all five rounds this fall, carded a 43 on the front, 39 on the back. Domeer, who played on the Defenders second team, shot a 43 on the front, 39 on the back, en route to her career-best round and finish.
Alexis Bunkers was the fourth Defenders golfer, finishing with an 83 and in a tie for 20th place.Â
Laney Franken rounds out the Defender scores from the first team with a 91 and tied for 41st.
Dordt's second team tied for 10th place with Northwestern's second team, both shooting a 370. Following Domeyer's 16th place finish,Â
