The Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) announced its weekly honors for men's soccer and Dordt University junior Pablo Martin earned the honor on offense for week two.

• this is the second edition of the weekly honors for the 2026 men's soccer season
• Martin netted four goals in leading the Defenders to victories against Avila (Mo.) and Viterbo (Wis.)
• Martin recorded a hat-trick in the Defenders 7-0 win against Avila on Friday, Sept.4
• the junior is the first Defenders player to record a hat-trick since 2023
• Martin followed his performance on Friday with another goal in the Defenders 2-0 win against Viterbo on Saturday
• Martin leads the team with 14 points (5 goals, 4 assists) this season
• Martin is the first Defender men's soccer player to earn the weekly GPAC honor since Mitchell Dryden on Oct.24, 2023 (week 9)
  • he is the first Dordt men's soccer player to earn the weekly GPAC honor for offense since Jacob Narkis on Sept.4, 2023 (week 2)
• Dordt is off its best start to the season since 2011
• the Defenders will host Mid-America Christian (Okla.), a team earning votes in the national poll, on Saturday, Sept.12
