The Dordt Defender volleyball team was a 3-1 winner over no. 6 ranked Park (Missouri) to go 4-0 this weekend at an event hosted by the College of Saint Mary in North Sioux City, South Dakota.
Dordt lost a lead late in set one to fall 26-24 but bounced back with wins of 25-23, 25-21 and 25-19 in sets two, three and four.
I'm extremely proud of how resilient we were this weekend. We faced numerous challenges and four very tough opponents . I'm happy with our grit and competitive intensity but most importantly our im happy to see us clicking as a team.  We don't quit- and we showed that this weekend.Â

Dordt was up 19-14 in set one after a block by Brenna Krommendyk and Alli Timmermans, but the Pirates staged a mutiny and took a 21-20 lead.
