RECENTLY

Dordt made the most of limited opportunities against Briar Cliff to get 3-0 and 9-1 wins on Tuesday, April 25 in Sioux City. The Defenders got a two-out, two-run double by Karli Olsen to help secure an eight inning win in game one and Emma Groen had five runs batted and a homerun in game two.  Dordt has now won four games in a row.

Jamestown hosted Midland on Wednesday, April 26 and lost 4-0 and won 9-5.    In the loss Midland was limited to two hits and in the win the Jimmies broke through with seven runs in the sixth inning to turn a 5-2 deficit into a four run win. Jamestown got 10 hits with multi hit games from Gregg, Lefebvre, Nieles and Lefebvre had three runs batted in.           

 THE SERIES

Dordt trails the series with Jamestown 7-6 since 2018. Dordt has won the last three games in the series with a sweep on April 20 and a 3-1 win in GPAC Tournament play on May 4 in Fremont, Nebraska.
