The Dordt University men's golf team will compete at the Virginia McCoy Invitational on Monday and Tuesday, October 13 and 14, to conclude the 2025 portion of the fall schedule. Monday's play will be a 18-hole competition, and Tuesday will be 18 holes of play. This will conclude the 2025 portion of the schedule.

The Dordt Defender men's golf team finished in sixth place after a second-day round of 306 to end the Mustang Derby at Whispering Creek with a 618. Dordt entered the day in a three-way tie for fifth place and improved on its first-day score of 312.

Dordt finished eight strokes behind Mount Mercy and one stroke ahead of Iowa Central to lock up sixth place in the 12-team field. Morningside won the event with a 292-292=584 and was 10 strokes better than Iowa Western's 300-294=594.

Last Time At Virigina McCoy (2022)
The Dordt men's golf team finished seventh at the Virginia McCoy Fall Invite held Monday and Tuesday, October 10 and 11 at the National Golf Club of Kansas City in Parkville, Missouri.
The Defenders had a seven stroke improvement from Monday and shot a 303 for a two day total of 613.
Freddy Bullock carded a 75-73=148 and finished tied for sixth andÂ
Dutch Farr went 80-72=152 and took 18
th.Â
Missouri Valley won the event by two strokes over the host, Park University. Missouri Valley shot 298-297=595 while Park posted a 23 stroke improvement to make a contest of it. Missouri Valley's Aaron Danson shot 75-65=140 to claim medalist honors.
