(Wednesday, November 12; Sioux Center, Iowa)  The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced the women's basketball players of the week for games played November 3–9, and Dordt's Macy Sievers (Senior; Storm Lake, Iowa) earned the offensive honor.

Sievers recorded a triple-double in a win over John Brown on Saturday, totaling 15 points, 12 assists, and 11 rebounds. She followed that performance with 22 points, six rebounds, and nine assists against Grand View on Friday. For the two games, Sievers averaged a double-double with 18.5 points and 10.5 assists per game, along with 8.5 rebounds and three steals per contest.

The Defenders are 4-0 this season following a win over No. 4 Dakota State on Tuesday night in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Sievers is averaging 18.0 points per game for Dordt, along with 10.0 assists, 8.3 rebounds, and 3.3 steals, while shooting 48 percent from the field.

Dordt will open conference play on Saturday, November 15, against Mount Marty before hosting its home opener on Wednesday, November 19, against Northwestern.
