(Tuesday, December 2; Sioux Center, Iowa) The second NAIA Women's Basketball Coaches' Top 25 Poll was released shortly before Thanksgiving and the Dordt Defenders continue to hold the no. 1 spot in the poll.
Dordt is 7-0 and hasn't played since November 22 when it was an 83-44 winner over Hastings (Receiving Votes). The Defenders are 3-0 in the GPAC and took all 20 first-place votes and is 20 points in front of Bethel (Tennessee) who was second all 20 ballots.
Dordt is scheduled to travel to no. 8 Briar Cliff on Wednesday, December 3 and will host no. 14 Dakota Wesleyan on Wednesday, December 10. Dordt will also host no. 9 Concordia on Saturday, December 13 as the Defenders have four games remaining against GPAC teams before Christmas.
