(Wednesday, November 26; Sioux Center, Iowa) The Great Plains Athletic Conference has announced the women's basketball players-of-the-week for games played November 17-23 and Dordt's Gracie Schoonhoven (Junior; Hospers, Iowa) was named both the offensive and defensive player of the week for both categories.

Schoonhoven averaged 25 points and 10.5 rebounds per game while converting 52.6 percent of her field goal attempts and she took away four steals with two blocked shots per outing in a pair of wins over Northwestern and Hastings.

Schoonhoven is averaging 20.6 points per game with 7.1 rebounds and 2.7 steals per game for Dordt through a 7-0 start.  She's converting 59 percent of her field goals and blocks a shot per game with 1.3 assists.  Dordt is off until Wednesday, December 3 when it travels to Briar Cliff.
